I understand that most colleges limit the amount of transferrable credit. However, if you have over that amount, do they automatically reject you? How many credits is too many? If so, which schools do this?

thanks

it depends whether ur coming from a CC or a 4-year....

If you are at a 4 year and have more than 90 credits....you will be automatically rejected by most universities.

In case of CC ... it doesn't matter how many credits u have ... I will have a 120 in just 2 years by the time I transfer to my prospective 4-year university this Autumn...

Haplessly...some schools do have rules stating like at UTEXAS-McCombs...that students with more than 90 credit hours are instructed to complete their degree at their current institution and then apply for graduate studies....

lol! this rule is so defunct! how can someone expect a community college student to complete bachelors...when the institution doesn't even offer it!
