does JHU award credit for classes taken at community college during high school?
I'm prospective JHU fall applicant

I think the answer is it depends about where you sat for the class. If it was in a college classroom, you’ll get credit. But concurrent credit programs attended at your high school do not receive credit. Admissions_Daniel has posted the answer somewhere, if I recall correctly.

Usually, the department will decide for itself when it looks at the course material. But AdamJaz is correct, “university in the high school” courses do not count.

The college courses must not be to fulfill graduation requirements. Community college credits are usually harder to transfer.

It would be wonderful if there was a place where questions like this were already answered by an official from the Johns Hopkins Admissions Office. Wait … there is:

(Sorry for the sarcasm … it is just a bit frustrating that people don’t search through the extremely helpful Hopkins Forums!)
