Will my community college credits transfer over to U of M? People say yes, some people say they don't accept them. I'm currently a junior and I'm going to take a college course over the summer.

check the transfer equivalencies

You’ll want to check the bulletin specific for your program. Kinesiology, for example, will only accept community college credits if you have completed 55 or less credits at UM (not sure about the other individual schools). I suggest you speak with your academic advisor. If they think it’s doable, then fill out the paperwork now for pre-approval and acceptance by your department. You may need to take the class at another 4 year university in order for it to transfer.

If you’re in LSA, the college won’t accept community college credits after you’ve earned 60 credits toward your degree.

Not sure what the policy is for CoE or Ross, though.

Thanks everyone, really helps.
