<p>On the common app where you list the current courses, son listed his full year courses in both columns and his half year courses in the 1st and 2nd semester columns depending on when he is taking the course. He did not list the credits - did not read the directions closely enough. He sent 3 apps out this way but we caught it on the rest of the apps. </p>
<p>So, the question is - should he contact the colleges (via email) and let them know the number of credits per course; or should we let it go? The high school also has sent transcripts but I don't know if the credits are on there for courses currently in progress. </p>
<p>From what I'm hearing there are all kinds of variations on how things are being put in all areas of the common app - a lot of things subject to interpretation. Personally, I'm guessing that even though it did ask for credits as long as the full year course is listed in both 1st and second columns it will be interpreted as a full-year course. </p>
