<p>i don't know i'm sure they have a team--you see them on the potomac all the time--- i know g-town has one- -i'm thinking about doing it even though i've nevr done it before and the city i live in doesn't even have a river , etc.---all my experience come from a three month canoe trip in minnesota---don't knwo if that adds up--do you have any experience? -i don't know many people who would what high school has a crew team unless you live up east</p>

<p>I've always wanted to do crew too! Seems like there are a lot of us rower wannabes. I really want to try to get involved in college, I've heard that teams are always looking for more petite women (i.e. me) so I'm hoping that might help the fact that I have absolutely zilch experience.</p>
<p>They have a crew team, but a club is unkown to me. I think the reason they might not have a club now is the expense and liability of sending new rowers out onto the potomac, but I could easily be wrong.</p>
<p>My brother was a GW rower. You should all try it. It's a big time committment, but great for meeting people and making friends.</p>
