I think that the letters are in the mail right now, otherwise they wouldn't have told Princetonites that they'd receive them on Monday. I think that the office-people purposely tell us that the leters will come on Wed./Thurs. so that they wouldn't have to deal with phonecals regarding "my not-yet arrived" letters.

well said polishdude, i totally agree with you

;kljhg;ioughgdf I'm going crazy now.
haha I really cannot concentrate. I'm a mess.
I hope you guys are right. A Tuesday letter would be clutch.

"i called this Friday and they said "mid week next week""

did they say RECIEVE mid next week, or mail mid next week?

I agree with the pole..I think they wanted to give an estimate later than reality so they wouldn't be late.

Yep...that would be super. See I am not delusional an dknow I didn't get in. I just wanna see it so I can return to my normal routine

has anyone harassed the princeton admissions office secretary ladies as of today or last night to see if they went in the mail saturday? i know one CCer has...

I thought the office was closed on the weekend.

He called them on Friday and found out that he woudl recieve Monday (in NJ). The office is closed but they still might have gone in to prep mailings.

well dowjones, i called friday, I live in the next county, but she said they're sending either tuesday or wednesday, maybe they are messing/screwing with our heads...

I really wish these people would just get their acts together and give us a date. Why must they cause this agony? Why?! They must know by now when they're mailing!

due to the prospect of receiving it tomorrow, i am an NJer, i may not sleep tonight, so dowjones, are you 100% sure, honest and confident about that....

ahaha Princeton is so old school. Put. them. on. the. internet. I actually kinda like the letter in the mail thing, but why don't they know when they send them out? Whyyy? Must they be so mysterious/superior? at least 60% of applicants are perfectionists/OCD, so they should at least have the decency to throw us a bone!

They enjoy the sickening feeling of thousands of frantic teens freezing in tents by mailboxes, clutching bears, tigers, blankies, and any other good luck charm they can think of while chanting numerous encantations for good luck.

An email I got from a friend at Princeton who works in the admission office:
Hey, I talked to one of the admissions officers I work for (name removed) and he said letters are going out the 14th, no exceptions. Don't listen to all those rumors and ******** because I heard it from "the horse's mouth."

So, there we have it. I think we can all sleep easy tonight.

they said i will recieve "mid week next week"

but HIGHLY doubt that Pton people put in mail on SATURDAY!!!!

if i were a NJer (thanks god i am not....no offense) i would count on tuesday. i am counting on wed for myself

lol sweetestsith, that's great, good post

i think this has become the new "omg 17 days left" thread....

i hated the deferral ad on top anyways and i never paid attention to it (i have weird superstitions)

but i just took deeper look at it and realized that it was ORANGE AND BLACK!!!!

very ominous...i don't like it

Who is telling the truth????

Lol SweetistSith about "freezing in tents"....that will definitely be me next year.....:p

Lucky post 777! Hope that is good luck for you EDers this year!
