<p>In your case, you might want to apply to some of the military schools, such as Navy or Air Force, usually they give full-ride if you have excellent GPA and SATs. When you signed up with College Board to take your SATs, you need to fill out the section for “college search”. You will get tons of mail from universities across the country. Last year, my child was offered all kinds of scholarships from private universities, many of them from out of state for full-ride. Good luck in your search.</p>

<p>I know that it is requested on the Profile, but I don’t know if it’s used in the formula or if it is data collected in order to see the overall financial picture.
