Criteria for Decision Making

I thought I had saved this thread, but can't find it....It was a list of criteria to compare one school to another based on a number of factors....

Anyone know which thread I'm referring to? Please attach if you do; I think it would be very helpful for the next few weeks....

I know it was a post by jmmom, first posted in probably April - May, 2005. She brought it back up recently, but I couldn't find it (I'm trying to look at work). If noone has located it by the time I get home and get back on CC I will hunt it down.

But I don't know why you need it, Rodney, I am sure she will be in at Emory and why would you go anywhere else? (Disclaimer - I am a current Emory parent)

Sorry, Rodney, I can't find it. Bumping this up so maybe somebody else will come forward.

Sorry about the Emory decision, I was surprised.

thanks, ThatMom....Thinkin' here it was possibly a demographics issue....D is really upset, but I think she'll get over it....

ThatMom. Here is the one I started a while back that has been resurrected over the seasons.
A Way to Decide
I think rodney may have been looking for another one - a recent one, but I haven't been able to find it either.

rodney- I was just heading over here for some wisdom after being waitlisted from Emory, too. It hurts and I hope your daughter feels better- she's not alone. The optimist in me hopes that I will see her on campus next year.

Emory with no aid
or
full tuition+ as a University Fellow at U of Alabama?

Wait listed at Davidson and UNC.

If you're an Emory parent or alumn, I'd particularly like to hear why you think its worth the extra quarter million.

^ i think you'll be better of making a new thread

jmmom: Thank you so much; this is great, but the post I was looking for is definitely more recent and had much of the criteria points that need to be input into the "chart" that is discussed...Unfortunately, I think it was a post on an unrelated thread..If I find it I will post it as well......

The thread is named "Final Selection Criteria" started on 3-7-08. Sorry, I am clueless on how to copy the link to this response. But it does include the posting about a spreadsheet and other ideas.
