<p>"kids from different countries" no...it's the opposite for internationals..it's really hard for internationals to get aid...specially asian countries, there are too many wealthy qualified applicants from these places</p>
<p>The top schools are very interested in having representation from more countries such as middle eastern countries and Eastern European countries. Some are actively recruiting in several countries. Indeed it difficult for an Asian or Western European candidate. to get aid.</p>
<p>From my experience, kids from Middle east or Eastern Europe , Vietnam or China (china, not hong kong) get in through different programs which fund them for a year as exchange students, very few of them are actual students...</p>
<p>Which probably explains why the schools are actively recruiting them. One of my teachers went to an African nation on behalf of the school and basically got a flow of applications going.</p>
