Hi, I just took the SAT. How many Critical Reading can you get wrong and still get an 800? What is the curve like? I searched some older threads, and it said -3 was a 790, but ... is it like that all the time? That seems a bit generous. Thanks!

Well, this was my first real SAT, but I prepped loads with the Blue Book and Kaplan's series.

The Official SAT Study Guide (Blue Book) says:
0-800
Minus 1- 770-800
Minus 2- 740-800
Minus 3- 720-800
Minus 4- 700-800
Minus 5- 690-790

Kaplan Says:
0- 800
Minus 1- 790
Minus 2- 770
Minus 3- 760
Minus 4- 750
Minus 5- 740

Some of those lower blue book numbers look harsh!

jan was at least -2 = 800; idk if they alternate between tests so every other test has a good CR curve but bad math, and vice versa?

i took madd diagnostics b4 the real sat and i got 7 wrong and 1 blank and i still got a 690
