Hey guys, I need some help with improving my reading score. I'm a pretty good student. I have a 3.85 weighted gpa, top 11% of my class, I play spots, I'm in NHS and I have 4 aps and about 8 honors. However, I'm bad at standardized tests and bombed the cr section, I got a 510. How can I improve my score on this and is there a way to study? Thanks

What’s your weakness? Do you need help with sentence completion questions? Or the passage-based questions?

Or both?

The passage based ones

This seems like a typical case of grade inflation. Sorry if I’m being acrimonious but that was what came to my mind when I first saw this post.

For passage based ones, read Noitaraprep’s strategy.

I think it’s more nerves, I get stressed out during the test and don’t know the strategies. I got an A in hon English 3 when others failed.

Check out my posts in the thread below. Tell me if they help.

That might just be pretext but I guess test anxiety might cause low scores. A tip would be to pump yourself up with insurmountable confidence to de-stress your mind.

Yes, that’s what I was looking for. Thanks!
