Critical READING HELPP!! (for those who get >700) MAY! (I know its a repeat forum)

hey everyone..

i need help with critical reading!! i took it in march & got a 600! how can i get at least a 700!??

I took SATs twice and both times the Critical Reading was the worst, but the second time around I did manage to get a 700. I found this website to be very beneficial:

<a href="http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/web_games_vocab.htm%5B/url%5D">http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/web_games_vocab.htm</a></p>

The vocabulary sections of the critical reading pose problems, especially if you can't differentiate between a few words that seem to mean the same. It is very easy to confuse definitions, especially after reading over so many of them in preparation for the exam (at least I faced that problem!). As for the remainder of the critical reading section, such as the reading passages and all, I suggest writing quick notes in the margins to make it easier to go back and look for pertinent information, should the need arise. Time is of the essence, so make sure you don't spend too long on any one passage.

Hope this helps!
