Critical section multiple choice

When I'm left with 2 choices that could be the answer, I always choose the wrong one...
Is anyone else in that situation??
How can I fix this problem?? Do I just have to look closely and find evidence?

Can you give me an example in the blue book (edition 1)? Page number and question number are fine if you don’t wanna type it out.

Try not to use process of elimination. Try to get the answer just by understanding the passage and knowing what the author said, not what the author didn’t say. That is, spend a little bit more time reading the passage and less time narrowing the answer choices down. Then, if you have absolutely have to use process of elimination, at least you’ll have a hunch about what is likely to be the right answer. Then you can try to prove that the others are wrong more easily. If this fails, you probably chose the wrong answer.

If the above method doesn’t work, then yes, you should try to find evidence. If two answer choices are very similar, one usually has evidence and the other doesn’t. If both have evidence to support them, then one usually answers the question better than the other.
