I have recently seen some posts about AP Test Prep books for AP Calc AB and AP Physics B - I really need to know which book is best for these two classes (PR or Barron's)

So...

I have an AP Phsycis B/C book by McGraw-Hill. It's clear and concise; I recommend it.

I haven't shopped for AP Calc books yet, but I'd presume that McGraw-Hill would also be a good bet for any AP.

I am trying to stick with Barron's or Princeton Review - if anyone can make a recommendation as to which one of these two to use, that would be great! :D

Thanks!

Use PR for both. I got a 5 on BC Calc when I only took the AB class, which I attribute wholly to Princeton Review's concise explanations of concepts and accurate practice tests. I am using the Physics book this year, and it's even better.

Yes, according to the reviews of the PR test prep books for both AP Calc AB and AP Physics B to the Barron's test prep books, PR is superior. Heck, I can't even find a current version of Barron's Test Prep - what's up with that?

BTW, does anyone know if PR will make a 2005-2006 version of their AP Exam prep books?

Thanks guys!

They'll publish a 2006-2007 version sometime in January, but it won't really be any different, unless the exam is undergoing significant changes, such as those for Spanish Language. Otherwise, you'll be fine with the 2004-2005 books.
