Cross Admit Prediction?

Just an interesting thought.
Seems like Stanford is performing 3rd on average cross admit wise among HYPS, according to the data
released last year by the faculty senate:

Any chances Stan may top Yale this year?

I think Stanford just might beat Yale this year. Not only has it won against Yale before, but it drew 50-50 or near it twice in the past few years, and this year Yale had a lot of bad publicity: title IX investigation and lawsuit, fraternity controversies, and the death of a student announced on the first day of Bulldog Days. Doesn’t bode well for Yale.

My D selected Stanford over Yale earlier this month after attending Admitted Student Days at each school. Her general impression was that more cross-admits were selecting Stanford. It will be interesting to see the final results.

Yea the competition among the top schools is really a thing to keep up with~
Seems to me that Stanford has been vying with Yale for that second place after H not only in terms of cross admit but also in terms of admit rate and yield.
Wonder if any of the schools are gna release official data as they did last year.

I think it’ll do pretty well against Harvard as well. (probably not beat it but get closer than before)
