Cross Admits UCLA vs....

Hello everyone,

UCLA decisions came out today and I was wondering how often other "prestigious" places like Stanford, Princeton, Yale, and other not so "prestigious" places, like LACS, like Amherst, Vassar etc

cross admit with UCLA

After all, i remember a while ago, some ppl are rejected by LA but accepted at the other places. So what are the chances of getting into both??

Thanks guys!

Acceptance at UCLA isn’t really a good measure of acceptance at any other college. Obviously if you got into UCLA you probably got into a place like UC Davis. However, because UCLA and the ivies, Stanford, LACS, etc. all look for different things it’s really hard to say. I don’t think acceptance in UCLA in any way signifies you’ll be accepted to those schools, especially the ivies, Stanford, MIT, etc., because they are so much more selective. Also, I don’t think denial from UCLA signifies that you are any more likely to be denied from another school.

^ That makes sense. Thanks a bunch kwwboarder.

Collegeboard has a list of UCLA’s similar colleges. Keep in mind information regarding the school has been found to be a decade out of date.

The list, however, looks roughly correct and believable.
