<p>I don't know where else to post this sports related question - I am thinking of doing cross country in college, what is it like in terms of the schedules, intensity of workouts, and times necessary to be accepted?
My current PR for the 5k is 17:37, 17:05 for a three mile and I'm a rising senior. </p>
<p>Also, what is the difference in Cross Country between NCAA Division I, II and III?
Note that I am not considering going to a school just for running, but as a way to challenge myself. I do not expect to be a great runner, but maybe by my upperclassmen years in college I could make the team.</p>
