For example, if I register for the philosophy (PHIL) "version" of a class that is also listed as a sociology (SOCI) class, can I use it to fulfill my social sciences distribution requirement? </p>
<p>Yes, I believe it does. I think the rule is that it will count for the requirement but will not count for more than the credits it’s listed as. So a 3 credit PHIL 301 will also count as taking CLSC 301, but will still only count for 3 credits rather than 6.</p>
