Other than MICA and RISD, what other schools allow you to cross-register with other schools? What kinds of courses does Brown or the other Baltimore colleges allow RISD and MICA students to take? I enjoy science and I was wondering if classes like bio or chem would be availible. Or would it just be the humantities?

It's not a deal-breaker for me, but I'm very curious. Thank you!

I don’t know for sure, but it seems that most schools are in a consortium of some kind with schools that are nearby. I have a D at Mica and I haven’t heard of any restrictions on the courses she’s allowed to take at other schools. Of course, the tough part is working out your schedule so that things fit.

You can even do a domestic exchange through AICAD, but I heard at Mica that if you want to do that, you should apply for at least 3 schools because some don’t let many students out (and it has to be an equal exchange). They also said the Cooper Union never sends any students out!

At Mica, there’s a bus that takes you to (most of) the other schools. You could walk to U of Baltimore or almost walk to the U of MD - Baltimore which includes the med school, pharmacy school, etc., and the “shock trauma center”.
