crowded dorm rooms!?

One of the residence halls at my school offers suites made up of 2 bedrooms, kitchen, and bathroom, with up to 4 students per bedroom! How do I deal with that? Anybody have experience with overcrowding?

So are you saying there’s 8 people per suite?

…The rooms will have to be pretty big if that’s the case. You’ll all have different schedules so the bathroom might be tricky but you’ll figure it out.

Yes up to 8 people. and i looked at a video of a tour of the suite, and the rooms dont look very big. or it could have been that they had a lot of stuff in there.

Here’s video of the suite furnished (go to 4:59)

The views are amazing though, I can say that

Those dorm rooms look kinda crowded. But atleast you get your own bathroom and kitchen. As long as your roommates aren’t *******s I think you’ll be good

It can be hard to have more than one roommate, I think, but these suites have much, much more space than I ever had. I had probably 2/3rds the size of the bedrooms, no common space either. I would have been very happy with what this looks like.

Also, hun, you’re in Manhattan, so you should probably get used to being extremely crowded :)

lol yea I know right :)

Yeah, get used to it living here in Manhattan. Man, I go to Brooklyn sometimes and I feel so free! The cramped thing doesn’t apply only at Columbia, because there’s a lot of singles. But still ridiculously small. Hey, it’s college, what’re gonna do?
