So I was deferred by my dream school, Georgetown, although I knew it was coming (it was still pretty heartwrenching). I'm asking you to chance me because I'm going through that whole "I'm not getting in anywhere" phase of this rejection . . .

You’re in:
-Boston College
-George Washington University
-Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
-American University
-Fordham University
-Worcester Polytechnic Institute
-University of Massachusetts- Amherst
-University of Rhode Island

The rest I either don’t know about, or can’t tell. You can never really be sure. But I will say that your record is really great, and you don’t have any crazy reaches.

I echo the sentiments of the above poster, and based on your comments about Doctor’s without Borders, GW and American are two schools you’ll get into and will help you achieve that goal. Oddly enough, I’m an adopted Korean, and feel the exact same way about being Asian on the outside but pretty damn white on the inside.

Just remember to keep your chin up, it isn’t the end of the world

Thanks guys!! I’m feeling terrible right now and I honestly don’t know what to do with myself:( thanks for the encouragement though! I’m surprised that you guys think I’ll get into BC, GW and RPI because they’re all great schools thanks again!

I’m sorry about Georgetown :-/
But I agree, you will be in at GW, American, UMass, and Fordham. Maybe not BC cause it’s so competitive but you’re well within their requirements so you definitely have a shot. Good luck!

thanks, saigesaunig! i’m like just starting to feel this rejection thing, but i’m glad you guys think i’ll get into these amazing schools like GW and stuff. Thanks again!

Sorry about Georgetown. I think you have excellent chances at GWU, RPI, Fordham, American, WPI, UMass and URI. Maybe for BC (VERY competitive). Best of luck!

First of all, you haven’t been rejected by Georgetown, just deferred. So there is still a chance. I agree with violaJ’s list except for BC. You have a good chance at BC, Emory, JHU and CMU but there may be a rejection or two in those four. They are very competitive schools.
