Does anyone have any crushes on any teachers? Is it wierd if you do?

not a crush, i just think one of my teachers is really hot lol
and yes it is weird :D

Lots of girls do. I don't think it's too weird. Plenty of teens have crushes on actors, and those are often similar ages to teachers.

I don't think it's wierd to have a crush on your teacher, there's a couple hot teachers in my school and I'm not the only one to think thier hot lol..

-Jess

ive never really had a crush on a teacher because for some weird reason i never really had that many male teachers. like...hmm, three? but one of them is old, one of them is fat, and the other is old AND fat.

I have a friend who starting teaching in an all girls catholic school when he was 23, so you can just imagine what he had to deal with. He was very handsome and charming, and the girls, well, they competed to TRY and get his attention. They would sit on his desk, make their skirts even shorted. What did he do, he face the chalkboard for the first 3 years (until the novelty of a hunky teacher wore off), he made sure his door was open at all times, when a student was in the class alone with him, he stood near the door, cause some of his students were a tad aggresive trying to get his attention either because they had a crush, or wanted to impress their friends.

He was smart though, and kept them all at arms distance because he needed to protect himself

Now his is in his 50's still "hot", but now he knows how to better handle the girl students who hit on him...

What if you have a crush on a teacher, but he's twice your age? I mean it's not like "he's hot" kind of crush. It's the intelligence and personality type of crush. Kind of like having a crush on Grissom from CSI because he's very intelligent and everything he says makes sense, not because he's hot or something like that. (I needed to use an analogy here...sorry). Is is wierd to feel this way about a teacher though?

No its not weird at all. I've had various "crushes" on teachers throughout time, some because they were cute, others because they were intelligent, others because they were funny, a whole myriad of reasons. There is a difference between having a crush and keeping in private and acting on it. A big difference.

I've not exactly had a crush on a teacher - more like I've been attracted to certain personality traits and nuances that separate them from the yet-to-mature high-school boy.

spirited has it down- sometimes teachers can be appealing because they are so much more smarter, mature, and experienced than HS guys

I wouldn't call them "crushes", but i do have two teachers that I think are insanely hot. One of them has one of the nicest asses ever, it's nice when he's writing on the board LOL

hey,
yeah and don't you just love casual Fridays??

For some reason, I like male teachers who wear the dress shirts and khakis. :)

I don't know...that's just me. ;)

yeah khakis are nice.. but in my old school (im homeschooled now) we had this young tall BLONDE male teacher and he looked really good in jeans and a pink dress shirt. he's currently dating our Spanish teacher (that all the guys think is hot)

There's nothing wrong with that. I had a huge crush on our substitute teacher for Geometry and Chem in 10th grade. He was incredibly drop dead gorgeous and so awesome. He gave us all the answers to our chem test that day haha He graduated hs like 6 years ago so he was real cool with us and knew what we were going through, but wow...beautiful

Now this girl in my grade has a crush on my Calc teacher AND she (or well they) have acted on it...I shudder everytime I have calc because in the back of his room there's a picture of him and her and he has his arm like around her waist and it didn't look like they were at prom. It just looked like they were out to eat at a nice restaurant. It's very weird...on top of that, his wife is pregnant with their 1st child...AND his wife has a little brother who is in my grade.

courtney, isn't that sexual harassment? and/or illegal?

Does anybody flirt with teachers but keeps it subtle? I'm just wondering and that's why I'm being random here.

No. I don't. I think it's really sick to flirt with 50-year old men with pot bellies who make lame jokes about the homosexuality of bonds between flourine atoms.

Of course, this has nothing to do with post #9.

ya courtney, i somehow doubt the picture part. i mean come on, does the teacher wanna get charged or something? a music teacher from one of my city's high schools got fired and got charged with sexual assault after having an affair with a student.

Well they got caught in the summer making out by a kid in my grade...and then again by the art teacher...she was forced to drop Statistics and can't be seen with him during school. But on the terms of him getting fired it won't happen, it's a catholic school so they aren't forced to fire him or anything...I don't know it's weird. The other math teacher was always flirting with girls and I heard quite a few stories about him too, but a petition was signed by all the boys in the school to keep him as a teacher so he was saved. But that picture is in the back of his room, and maybe it was at the prom, maybe it wasn't, but his arm is def around her waist. And she's saying that he's going to buy her a promise ring and give it to her on graduation, which is messed up.
