It looks like that I have to take Rohr's CS33 class for the Fall 2007 since they won't offer it in Winter. Is that class really horible/terrific/impossible to handle? Anyone has had experience with Rohr before??? Thanks

I took CS 33 with Prof. Rohr. Never was I so grateful for a C.

Flopsy,

So do you mean it's already a big luck to obtain a C from him? CS33 will be my first CS major class at UCLA and i don't want to screw it up :(

No, it's just that you'd be getting grades that count as below the C range if it weren't curved (~60%).

Average score for CS33 final last quarter was a 46.

It's definitely a hard course but since it's so heavily curved, you just have to stay with the average by doing your projects and going to office hours if you need help.

I had Rohr for CS31 (which was terrible) since he was boring. If you can handle that and you have a decent/good TA, you'll be fine!

PS: I actually enjoyed CS33 more than CS32 and ended with a B+.
