Is it harder or easier than 61A?

I've heard that 61A is the worst, so probably not as bad, though I guess it depends on who you are.

I'd say 61C is the undisputed champion of being the hardest, though all of 61 series is pretty dam tough.

As for 61B, it really depends on your professor. If you have someone like Shewchuk, it'll make it seem a lot easier. Or if you have someone like Hilfinger, it could seem a lot harder. It should be comparable in toughness though.

Yeah, I hear CS61A and CS61B are about the same, while CS61C is harder. They use different programming languages, so if you're familiar with Java then CS61B might be easier for you. Most people who've done programming before should have an easier time with Java (61B) than Scheme (61A).

Im starting the fifth week of 61B with Hilfinger and I can attest that this is the absolute most difficult/time consuming class I have taken at Berkeley. I'm pretty sure I am going to drop it very soon. 61A is much more awesome.
