I was wondering which of these combination would be a better fit to get a job in the states. Im really interested in business but im also pretty good in all science fields. I’m mostly interested in consulting or management position. (i dont care if i do consulting and its not the big 4s, i just really like the job) The reason im picking a CS field is because i want something technical in my curriculum. I really need to chose my classes, so a response would be pretty helpful thank you!
Both of those are good combinations. If you don’t want to work in IT though, it seems like getting a CS degree would be a waste and a lot of work. I’d do the CS minor instead.
If you aren’t wanting a job in the CS field, and just want the knowledge, I would recommend minoring in it instead of making it your major. Getting a job as a consultant in the business world without a business degree will be difficult.
So I’m in agreement with loller: minor in CS instead, while majoring in the Risk Management & Finance.
