Would it be stupid to go to Georgetown as a Computer Science major?? It seems they have a small yet good program, but would job recruiters look down on going to such a liberal-arts school?? I’m trying to get into some top CS schools, but if I can’t, should I go to Gtown or a community college??
Absolutely not.
That depends on things like cost, fit, etc as well, but while learning CS at a CC is doable, Georgetown probably offers a higher caliber experience, even if it isn’t incredibly known for CS. There’s not some magical dropoff between “top CS schools” and Georgetown/CC, it’s a gradient.
