How good is it reputed to be? I'm currently in the undergrad program, and I was curious to get an outside perspective on what I have experienced to be a pretty awesome place.

I applied because it’s very well ranked in CS, but unfortunately didn’t make it. US N&R isn’t the perfect ranking system by any means, but they rank its CS major program 7th on the list, above other prestigious universities such as CalTech, Princeton, Columbia and Harvard. The undergrad program will obviously be a bit different and rank may be higher or lower, but it’s a very reputable school by all means and will most likely land you a job at a great company, assuming you’re able to succeed there.

7 rank for grad and #12 undergrad

I think their program is well respected.

This is all good to know. I wasn’t actually aware of the undergrad ranking and assumed it wasn’t quite to the level of the grad program’s ranking (which is true, I guess, but the difference is slim).

Seattle is full of UW grads. Seattle is also full of high tech companies, with a high need for computer gurus. That mix makes for strong job prospects if you wish to stay in the area. If you specialize in databases and business intelligence/analytics, the sky’s the limit in Seattle.
