CS/CE at NYU-Poly

<p>So I just got accepted into Nyu-poly. (CS major, though I can switch around the EECS ones)</p>

<p>I have seen a lot of posts here from 2009-2011 about how Poly's reputation is on the rise because of the potential merger with NYU.
Now, the merger has been officially declared (oct 2012) and would be completed in 2014.</p>

<p>I'm awaiting admission results from these universities (Same major) :
1. MIT (first choice ofcourse :D )
2. Cornell
3. UIUC
4. Purdue
5. Wisconsin-Madison
6. Michigan-Ann Arbor
7. Rensselaer</p>

<p>What do you guys think about admission to nyu-poly and its potential future. How does it compare to the other colleges on my list. (Except MIT. I know how it compares to that already hehe)</p>

<p>Hmm, I just know those other schools on your list are solid choices. I actually don’t really know much about NYU-Poly. If you got into UIUC, I highly recommend it. However, I am surely biased as a student there so feel free to take my opinion as a grain of salt.</p>
