CS/CSE at UCD vs Math CS at UCSD

So, I want to do CS (Computer Science) in college. I got accepted to CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) at UC Davis. I also got accepted to UCSD, but not to my first choice major, CS, and I know that there’s no guarantee that I’ll be able to switch to it. If I go to UCSD, I’ll probably switch to math CS if I can’t switch to CS.

So, a few questions concerning CS/CSE at UC Davis and math CS at UCSD:

Which one should I do if I want to do CS? Because math CS is mostly math from what I can tell…

Which one has better employment prospects if I want to get a CS job?

Which one has better employment prospects overall?

It’s like splitting hairs. I give UCSD much stronger program but my reservation is whether the Math CS is stronger than CS at UCSD. UCD is closer to Silicon Valley which is a plus.

Here is the top colleges for CS that Facebook list on its website for students.

Bump

are you in engineering at SD or is that Letters and Sciences? Because if the latter, I’d say definitely go to Davis. I’d probably go there anyhow just because I like college towns at college, but that would make it pretty clear cut to me.
