CS department of Olemiss: Internship and Opportunities without Honor College

Though I have good SAT score (something in between 1400 and 1500), I was rejected and wait listed by many Liberal Arts College. I was probably wait listed and reject because of my LARGE NEED along with lack of ECA(Only meaningful ECA that I had was working at NGO{2012-present}). University of Mississippi was one of the safety college which provided me scholarship worth Full Tuition along with somewhat feel of Liberal Arts College.
Although I have spent hours researching about Uni oF Mississippi, I couldn’t figure out if Its Computer Science department is good enough to be Valued across the USA and whole world.Coming to my question question, Will I get chance to graduate from TOP US UNIVERSITIES OR GET GOOD JOBS AND INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY after studying CS in Uni of Mississippi? If NOT, Is it worth taking another gap year (graduated in 2016) and applying again to LACs

P.S. I would love to know more about CS department of Olemiss from student who are amuni or currently studying at olemiss

NOTE:

  1. I MISSED DEADLINE TO APPLY TO HONOR COLLEGE
    2.I mentioned feel of Liberal arts college because of Mission of Olemiss Engieering
    {The School capitalizes on its engineering science tradition, its low student to faculty ratio, and the liberal arts environment of the University of Mississippi to give our graduates the abilities to adapt to the rapid changes in engineering and to give our graduates the interdisciplinary background and capacity for innovation that sets them apart from the graduates of larger engineering schools.}
