I got a C in both AP Physics and AP Calc BC this junior year. I only have a 3.8 weighted overall so I want to know now my chances for UC schools like UCLA are done.

what are your other stats bro?

Put em up, and i’ll help ya out.

and pssst: you’re justa junior…so although this is an important year for you…don’t freak out.

Freshman:
AP Bio: B+

Spanish 1: A then B

Sophomore:
AP Euro: B
Honors English 10: B
H. PreCalc: B
Spanish 2: A

Junior:

AP Lang: B
AP US Hist: B

Sorry if I am freaking out. I don’t have a clue what UC schools expect in students. My asian parents just tell me anything below 4.0 will mess up your life.

You have grades for X country? lol. It’s a pretty rigorous schedule but, don’t listen to your parents too much, a 4.0 won’t kill you. Apply to some the lower UC schools.

Freshman year:
Not given much weight but … your grades kinda fell.
so
Sophomore year:
B in your harder classes
Junior Year:
AP CALC; Oh no!
AP PHYSICS: Work on it!

Lang and History : Push yourself next semester.

You are being consistent but a downward trend. So not great. Wont kill you @ UCLA but probably will hurt your chances

Do you think a straight A semester next year might make up for it? (Yeah I think I can get all A’s 'cause my PS3 is gone now…)
