which combination of the 2 mentioned in the title can set me up with versatile profile…
i’m looking at dartmouth and cornell (i’m also on the pre med track)…where should I go to pursue this combination
Is this combo even possible? I’m into Cornell CALS so I won’t be able to start my econ/CS major at Cornell until I switch to CAS after a year
I would recommend majoring in economics and minoring in computer science to supplement that. An economics minor is not very useful. If premed does not work out, an economics major may help you get a career in ibanking. Additionally, it is probably easier to get a higher gpa majoring in economics than cs.
Premed with econ major and CS minor will be difficult, but possible. Cornell is known to be the more grade-deflated of the two colleges. Since you’ll have to take so many courses, you probably don’t want to spend a year in the wrong college at Cornell. Dartmouth has an especially strong undergraduate-focused economics department. I would recommend Dartmouth.
