C's or D's?

<p>hi im a to-be senior and i want some advice on the following
i landed myself with 2 C's in my trig/precal class junior year but UC's won't let you make up for C's</p>

<p>so is it recommended to take the C's?
or
take D's in the classes to have a chance to retake them for A's which would definately help my GPA.. but D's are frowned upon by UC"s..</p>

<p>what should i do?</p>

<p>Do not have a D on your transcript. Just do better next year. (And there’s little chance that you could go from a D to an A…)</p>
