Hi.

I'm from Calgary, and, as part of a larger list, I wanted to shortlist one or two out of this list of three.
I know that getting in won't be a problem, and was wondering if you would happen to know which universities offer the best physics and computer science program, a great all-round education and an intellectual student body.

Also, how do these universities compare to, say, Stanford-Harvard, or Berkeley, or UCLA or University of Washington.

Thanks!

Computer Science

Stanford > Harvard > Berkeley > UCLA > U of T > University of Washington > UBC > McGill
UBC is ranked 41st in the world, so all of the first 7 are considered great schools. All of them would have a great all-round education and an intellectual student body. University of Waterloo should be on your list for computer science. It has an excellent program.

Physics

Harvard > Stanford > Berkeley > UCLA > U of T/McGill/University of Washington They’re all in the top100 schools. The first 4 are in the top 50.
