<p>What are everyone's thoughts about a CS major studying pre-med as well?</p>
<p>I'm really interested in learning CS, but I also feel that a career in the medical field might be in my future as well.</p>
<p>How significantly do you think CS and pre-med will conflict?</p>
<p>You will do fine, your pre med classes won’t conflict as long as you manage your time wisely. You only have to take around 8-10 semesters worth of courses to fulfill the prereqs.</p>
<p>This is an EXCELLENT choice. Computers are the future and having a doctor who knows computer science seems very beneficial.</p>
<p>You have a great career to fall back on should you decide medicine is not for you.</p>
<p>My advice. Do it! You already have an interest in CS, which is a very stable field, and you have ambitions of becoming a doctor. You will be successful if you go this route, no matter what you decide to do.</p>
