I'm having lots of trouble choosing a major so i figure i'll go for the one that is least demanding. I would like to know how CS compares to EE, CE, and other popular engineering programs in terms of rigor. thanks

good question, I'm interested in CE, CS, and EE as well.

As always this depends heavily upon the school you attend but traditionally

EE > CS > CE

I can't agree with the above assessment, as it really depends on the school. My personal experience during undergrad is that EE/CE were more difficult than CS.

EE > CS > CE

I think you believe the OP is considering Civil Engineering. It's probable that Computer Engineering was meant instead.

If so Electrical and Computer Engineering are pretty much equal, but much harder than CS.

yeah im talking about computer engineering. are those more difficult since they involve circuits? im guessing those are hard.

My mistake--usually I see ECE as the abbreviation for Electrical and Computer Engineering.

In that case--

EE/ECE > CS

What is the difference between CS and CE?

The opinion at my undergrad was pretty much all engineering is harder than CS. Except maybe ISE.

Disagree quite heavily. The projects in CS is killer.
