CS transfer from SCC chances..?

I’m applying as an international transfer for autumn 16 from Shoreline Community College with an AA degree and 108.5 credits… here are some data & prereq grades:

Personal statement: okay but not so great…
Toefl: 108
Cgpa: 3.93
Phys1,2&3: 3.9, 4.0, 3.9
Math:
calc1,2&4, lin alg: 4.0
Calc3: 3.2 (bad teach + heavy couseload)
Cs1&2: 4.0
Eng1&2: 4.0
I tutored physics, math and cs a lot, I also lead an event club at school.

I am scared that they will reject me for my calc 3 grade. I know they receive much betrer students. I don’t have a github and my time was filled managing my club instead of working on personal projects. I also think I’m not that great in communicating . Got rejected from my other dreamies (Georgia tech, ut austin, UCs). I am really desperate at this point and UW taking so long to decide is not helping :’) as everyone is probably feeling with me. Help please!

btw, you got an AA degree instead of AS ? may I know your other courses as well?

No, I only applied to LA and Berkeley (foolishly). Yeah the community college I went to only offered an AA for computer science. Not a very good school. :confused: I took random stuff like econ, public speaking, philosophy and psychology and 4.0d those to fulfill requirements

You look like a strong candidate to me @TheMayo , no one should be hearing until mid July since UW students didn’t finish apps until yesterday. Good luck!

@TheMayo I would say your stats are competitive. Your concern is about the cal3 grade, but you proved you are good at math by doing well in Linear Algebra.
However, the slots for us, transfer students from CC, are very limited. Everyone I know so far having a very great stats such as: 7-8 people in this forum have a gpa in range of 3.90-> 3.95. 2-3 people in range of 3.95+.
All of them say they are having a very good personal statement…

Thanks all for the replies and good luck to you too! Man it’s looking bleak for me, I’ve only got accepted at Miami u. I might wait it out until spring or something ._.
