CS vs CE: Which major to become a computer software engineer?

<p>I'm planning on becoming a computer software developer but not sure which major I should be taking. Based on Santa Cruz major for computer engineer and scientist, which one would be better off for software engineering? I just can't seem to find out which one I should be taking.</p>

<p>CS or double major</p>

<p>Usually software engineer has more similarities to computer engineering curriculum
I’m computer engineering and how they set it up is you choose a one specific emphasis there are five choices and I believe a couple of them are heavy on software</p>
