CS61A just shrank by about 100 seats.. what's going on?

Hi everyone,

My Telebears phase II is rapidly approaching and I just noticed that on the Berkeley schedule website, the computer science 61A lecture just shrank by about 100 seats, which means that it's just about full. How / why could this happen? Is it possibly a glitch that may be corrected? I am worried because I need this class and there is only one lecture for it.

Thanks,
dt_

first day of freshman phase 2's?

did the seats shrink by 100 or did the enrolled increase by 100?

^ the total number of seats shrank from 400ish to 308. enrolled i believe didn't change drastically.

rofflez: i'm not sure if it's the first day but in the coming week or so (some people even had 'em today), yeah, pretty much.

Yeah, I'm worried about this as well. I put off cs61a for phase 2 and now there's only like 1 spot left. Should we just go on the wait list and hope for the best?

^ Probably yeah.
I waitlisted for Math53 in phase I b/c all the discussions were full and I was enrolled a couple of weeks later. so it's certainly possible :)
