But generally, it is not at all risky to leave CS 61A to Phase II, especially if you have more pressing courses to sign up for. Worst case: students typically drop early in the semester, if not during and after Phase II, and there you’ll have your opportunity.</p>
<p>CS61A is perfectly a fine class to sign up during phase 2. Don’t freak out just because the class is full by the time you sign up. There will be folks who will drop out or the class size will increase.</p>
