<p>yea it's primarily C rather than C++. You learn object oriented programming in other courses.</p>
<p>If you already know programming, you may be able to skip out of the introductory classes and get into the higher level classes right away (which are typically Java)</p>

<p>don't worry about CSCI 101. Ghyam is one of the better engineering profs.</p>
