CSE 11 or 12

<p>Hey guys,</p>

<p>I was looking at the placement test information for the starting CSE course, and it says that you can choose to take CSE 8A, 8B, 11, or 12. Does this mean that if I feel I'm ready, I can take CSE12 without taking CSE11, even though it CSE11 is stated to be a prerequisite? </p>

<p>If it helps, I passed the APCS test (to my knowledge there was no longer A or AB distinction when I took it).</p>
