<p>So I am a chem major and started to learn programming for fun during this summer. I started with JAVA and able to do most of the HW for CSE 142 by now. I know that each programming language would let you do specific things (Windows app, phone app, web design ect.)</p>
<p>I am very interested in building phone applications or windows applications, but I heard this is mostly for experts...</p>
<p>For those that know a lot about programming or computer science, could you please tell me what type of application can I learn to build with JAVA? </p>
