CSE3 Textbook

It's called Learning to Program with Alice PLUS EXCEL (UCSD CUSTOM)

Is excel like, Microsoft excel program? because I already have it lol.

Wondering if anyone knew before I email the professor because well, it's caturday.

INB4 "haha CSE3 is for noobs" hurr durr etc

i email the prof last week and she just gave me this link: http://cseweb.ucsd.edu/~bsimon/cse3.html</a>
seems like the excel thing is also a book

omg thanks we can buy two separate things now

If we download the textbook world thing, does that mean we don’t need to buy the Alice book? and just buy the Excel 2007 one?

Nevermind… I thought the download would be the online version of the whole textbook.

alice is a program LOL

used it in high school, never understood the point.

do you guys know if we’re allowed to use a used “Learning to Program with Alice PLUS EXCEL (UCSD CUSTOM)” because the bookstore isn’t selling any used copies? Also, is the access code, CIS, and CD are reusable? or is the access code CIS used once only?

if you’d like to purchase a used “Learning to Program with Alice PLUS EXCEL (UCSD CUSTOM)”, im selling mine! the CD is reusable and i havent used the access code

I’m taking the CSE 3 course and was wondering how much you’re selling your used version? :)

im selling the entire cse3 package i bought last year which includes the Excel textbook (used later in the quarter) and Learning to Program with Alice textbook (with CD included) for $65. They’re both in great condition and i didn’t even use the CD. let me know if you’re interested, you can email me too at a5tam@ucsd.edu
