I’ve been lucky enough to be accepted by both, and see pros and cons in both schools.

I’ve visited BC, and am very comfortable with the program. The honors program seems like it provides a lot of personal attention.

UPenn is also a great school, but I only spent 1/2 day there during the summer, so I’m not as familiar, but of course it’s Wharton. ;)

Is CSOM Honors wall street recruiting at all comparable to Wharton? And when that time comes, is it better to be in the top 5% of BC, or just an average student at Wharton?

What about getting into a top Grad school (Harvard Business, Wharton, etc)?

Thanks for the thoughts.

There is Wharton and everyone else. No other undergrad biz school comes close.

For top grad schools, the primary admissions factor is great work experience. Undergrad doesn’t matter much for B-school admission. But undergrad may matter in obtaining that great work experience. For example, McKinsey and the I-banks hire a lot of Ivy grads. Heck, the top consulting firms even hire English majors from Harvard.

Visit Wharton before you decide.

I am honored that Wharton is even mentioned in the same sentence as BC CSOM. Wharton is the best UG business school as previously mentioned, but if you don’t feel comfortable there, then the prestigious education will do you no good.

Everything else being equal, Wharton over any other UG business program.

For return on your investment and career prospects, I’d have to say Wharton. You will be pretty set right out college coming from CSOM honors, but not like you would be from Penn. BC sends a lot of kids to Wall Street, but I don’t know if they all end up at top bulge brackets, and I imagine that if you went to Wharton you could walk right into Goldman.

Wharton is THE business school. CSOM can not even come close to UPenn, an ivy.

My best friend goes to Wharton and absolutely loves UPenn. It is such a wonderful school- not to mention fun!

Wharton is a much more prestigious school. Congrats on both acceptances, but you would be a fool to refuse Wharton!
