CSOM RD Regular Decision Honors Acceptance?

Hi. Boston College has been among my top schools for a while. I sent in my RD app before the EA deadline in order to show my desire to attend. The school is really great and its been among my top choices since I visited. The prospect of being admitted to the honors college in particular is awesome to me. My stats, from what I’ve seen, are among the lower level of the typical honors college admit. So it goes without saying that I hope to have a chance to be admitted to the honors program. My question is, is it still possible to be admitted to the CSOM honors college through regular decision?

I know I’m getting somewhat ahead of myself since the decisions have not yet even been released. However, depending on my decisions from my other schools, it will be a strong determining factor of whether I attend.

Thanks so much in advance to anyone who might be able to help me out!

I also have the same question. anyone know?

yes, absolutely. The Honors program is just not for Early applicants.

Ok great- just the answer I was hoping for! Thanks so much

The first of the April Admitted Eagle Days should have a separate part for Honors Program students so you may very well be invited to the program through regular decision. In addition, you can interview after your first semester is complete. CSOM’s Honors Program usually admits 4 or 5 students this way per year.

What percent of students get admitted to honors program? or number? Does it solely depend on grades and standarized tests?

About the top 7% or 8% or so are in the HP. Much of it is dependent on grades and SAT/ACT scores though for a person with exceptional extra-curriculars, that could also play a role.
