I was admitted early action to both Villanova and Boston College and I’m completely torn between the two. I visited both schools and I LOVED them. I’m planning on majoring in accounting. I know CSOM is ranked higher than VSB, but I also got in to Villanova’s honors program. If anyone has any knowledge about how BC and Villanova compare academically, socially, etc, your input would be much appreciated!
I’m waiting back on both schools for RD and feel like I’m in the same position. However, hands down I would pick BC due to the proximity to Boston. both have great business programs so it would be splitting hairs. but it’s up to your preference. Did you go to the admitted student days?
@justinn76 Yes I did. Like I said, I loved both schools when I visited. Villanova’s accepted students day was definitely more spirited than BC’s, but both schools presented themselves very well. I also had the chance to go into the city when I visited BC and I loved it! I didn’t get to check out Philadelphia though.
@student4294 BC has easier access to Boston than Nova does to Philly. Both schools have awesome sports teams and I would be proud to say I go to either one. Good luck!
I got into both as well, including the honors program at VSB, like you. I don’t regret my decision at all. BC 100%
