CSS Due Date?

Is it due on November 15th or by November 15th for Early Filing?
It is November 14th right now in my time zone but November 15th elsewhere and when I submitted my CSS right now, it said for "Priority Filing" which is for Regular Decision rather than Early Filing.
Does this mean my CSS won't be considered? My NCS did do his part yesterday, so before November 15th.

What does your college say? If you submitted YOUR CSS Profile by the November 15 deadline (that would be midnight tonight) in you time zone…you should be fine…but really, only the college can tell you for sure.

But why did you wait until the last day to complete this? Why?

It isn’t obvious what college you are talking about… but submit it as soon as you can, and call the financial aid office to discuss it. My experience is that they will usually help you out. The deadlines are just to try to get everyone off their tails to get it done, and they may say they can’t PROMISE that the aid package will come to your kid the same time the rest of the early filers do.

If your kid has applied EA or rolling admissions, in the long run this probably won’t make a difference. Your kid won’t have to give an answer on whether they want to attend before they see their FA package. For ED you could bump into this… just DO NOT accept an ED offer without seeing the FA package, ask the school for an extension on the ED decision date if it comes to that.

And start a spreadsheet of all the other FA dates for your kid’s colleges now, and shoot for beating all the dates by a week at least (in case you have trouble tracking down some special little item that one of them may ask for, or figuring out how to send the info the way they want it, etc.). The lack of standardization in the FA paperwork process across schools is one of my pet peeves, so plan ahead so you don’t get caught again.
