<p>I applied ED to UPenn, and apparently the FAFSA and CSS were due by Nov 1st. I didn't even know of their existence, but I'm turning them in today.</p>
<p>Will this hurt my chances of admissions? And why does FAFSA only offer forms for the 09-10 school year?</p>

<p>FAFSA and CSS are for financial aid. Missing the deadline should not affect admissions but may affect institutional aid you may get. FAFSA for 2010-2011 is not available until January 1st so I am surprised they would be asking for FAFSA by Nov 1st.</p>

<p>They don’t ask for FAFSA by Nov 1st according to this. But they do ask for the Penn Financial Aid supplement, CSSprofile, and 2008 tax documents. I would suggest getting them in ASAP if financial aid is an important issue for you.</p>
