CSS Problem!!

<p>so this is the problem:
I applied to Private schools and desperately need financial aid. I spoke to my counselor and she said that I had to file for FAFSA, which I did well in advance of the February 1st deadline. I received an email from my counselor last night saying that I had to create and send in the CSS profile for each school. The deadline was also Feb. 1st. so as of today its 2 weeks late and I can't contact the schools until Tuesday. </p>

<p>does anyone know:
If i send it in will it still be considered?or what are my best options?</p>

<p>P.S. I know its my fault for not checking the deadlines and requirements for myself..
But i am panicking a bit since there is absolutely no way I will be able to go to college without Financial Aid..</p>

<p>Contact the school on Tuesday, and ask your current school to do the same. If they received your FAFSA, they can get started. It might or might not be a deal-breaker. Just call on Tuesday. In the meantime, fill out the Profile this weekend and get it sent. Then you can call on Tuesday and explain that it's completed and apologize for the delay. I'm sure you are not the first student to make this mistake!

<p>i also have kind of the same problem. my situation is my css profile is due on the 15 for most of my colleges and I qualify for the fee wavier, but the earliest i can get it(the fee wavier) is on feb 17. what should i do?</p>
